Aakash A. Shah, M.D. 
Dr.Shah is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with an emphasis on arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. Dr.Shah completed his sports medicine fellowship in Miami where he served as the Assistant Team Physician to the NBA Miami Heat. Dr.Shah specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle. Dr.Shah enjoys taking care of the high school, collegiate, and pro athletes, as well as the weekend warriors. In addition, Dr.Shah is experienced in total or partial knee replacement and general orthopaedics.
Dr.Shah earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During his career, Dr.Shah has published multiple journal articles presented at numerous meetings. As an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopy Association of North America, Dr.Shah makes sure his patients receive the most current and sophisticated care available.
